Abstrakt

The research began as an inquiry into the causal relationships of different components of a strategic plan for an urban church family. The research became a case study which assumed an organic nature reflective of both disciple-making and the urban setting. This research describes the nature of disciple-making, the urban context, and the divine interaction with both. The non-deterministic nature of the urban context and the disciple-making process is evident throughout this study. The description and analysis of this complex interaction are presented both on a conceptual and practical level. The conceptual level is presented in the review of literature and biblical theology. The practical level provides application while exposing the learning process of the local church.
