Abstrakt

This dissertation is designed to provide information that a church support network can use to better understand and assist the long-term chronic pain sufferer. It will also provide the training needed to direct the sufferer to accept the unexpected direction their life has taken and find God's purpose for their situation. I have used an Archival Educational Methodology including many interviews with physicians treating chronic pain and with patients experiencing long-term chronic pain. Both have reviewed my findings and made suggestions to complete the study.
