Abstrakt

This project details the establishment of an orientation event for newcomers to Compass Church in Goodyear, Arizona, to promote an informed, enthusiastic participation of individuals seeking to continue their spiritual growth within this church family. The biblical basis for inclusion in a local church as a necessity for spiritual growth is established, and the core beliefs, values, and procedures of Compass Church are systematized and developed into an effective and engaging curriculum. This curriculum is presented to key leaders for feedback, and the revised results are presented to newcomers in a setting that models the church's commitment to learning in the context of small groups that promote bonding relationships.
