This project examines the merger between St. Andrew and St. John United Methodist Churches in 2004 which formed a new congregation called St. Peter United Methodist Church. The author researched how significant organizational change occurred during merger and what was learned. The change occurred when the congregations experienced unfreezing, learning, and refreezing around a new identity.
