  • The purpose of this project was to research the syncretic nature of Egyptian religiosity and develop a spiritual curriculum for Egyptian pastors. The author researched how the consecutive religions with their beliefs and practices throughout the history of Egypt have combined to shape the mentality, worship, manners, and character of today's Egyptians. After the research phase which included academic readings in history and folk religion, and a field study on 240 Egyptian subjects, he developed a remedial spiritual formation curriculum for pastors. the ten lessons of the curriculum address the ten negative characteristics gleaned from the research.
