  • This dissertation is a two-part study focusing on church administration and growth of small- and medium-size Canadian Chinese Churches. The first half deals with the theoretical aspects. Biblical foundations for administration and leadership management are explored. Then, the author illustrates how church management is related to church growth. The second half deals with proxis. Using scriptures as the guide and TLBC as a test case, the author traces the development of TLBC in its 17-year history. He analyses the present organizational structure of the church and proposes refined departmental guidelines, human resource policies, and meeting agendas and processes. His objective is to put together his analysis into a church administration manual for TLBC.
