  • This project employs the purpose-driven church paradigm to unify the disparate theological, stylistic, and methodological factors extant in a United States Air Force chapel's typical Protestant program. It examines the relationship between a military chapel and the biblical understanding of a New Testament local church. The purpose-driven church paradigm is offered as a viable strategy for leading a military chapel effectively and with studied intention. The project employs a one groups pretest-posttest design to determine the effect of the four-moth intervention in inculcating the purpose-driven church mindset, concluding that such an approach is well suited for a military chapel context.
