Abstrakt

The project seeks to deal with church growth not merely in numerical terms but also spiritual. Yet much theology of preaching focuses on the needs of the hearers first and not on expositing the text. The study focuses on evaluating modern church growth methodology, of which most models appear to require a more solid Biblical and theological foundation. It then proposes a ministry model integrating Scriptural, theological, historical, and research elements in the form of a college or seminary curriculum designed to instruct ministerial students in the relationship between expository preaching and church growth.
