  • The purpose of the project was to equip selected church leaders in the Loudon County Baptist Association in Lenoir City, Tennessee in basic strategy planning skills. The project exposed pastors and laypeople to the basic concepts of strategy planning skills helping them understand the value of strategy in their churches. The project consisted of three stages. The project director researched the area of strategy planning skills in the first stage. In the second stage, the director developed the lesson plans for the workshop to equip the leaders in basic strategy planning skills. During the third stage, the project director conducted the basic strategy planning skills workshop with those participants recruited.
