Abstrakt

The thesis of this project was that electronic data processing could provide effective support for managing the mission of a presbytery. The Presbytery of Lake Michigan tested applications of computer support for selected facets of its administrative and managerial functions. These applications included word processing, financial management, and the development of personnel files and mailing lists. The conclusion was that the application of electronic data processing to the management of presbytery's mission demonstrates that the utilization of such tools enhances the efficiency of its procedures and the effectiveness of its program.
