Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to prepare and test guidelines to improve the effectiveness of the Home Mission Board in relating to the Baptist state fellowships. The theological, historical and theoretical backgrounds for state Baptist fellowships were researched. A long-range planning event was scheduled and conducted, where guidelines were developed that affected budget, staff structure and time-line for becoming a state convention. The conclusion was a workable process with guidelines that can be used in the development of other fellowships.
