Abstrakt

This project was designed to address the leadership needs of the membership of Faith Vision Baptist Church of Miami, Florida. The writer intended to identify and examine the reasons for church instability. It was the writer's assumption that churches are stabilized when the question of authority is settled and high turnover rates are curtailed. Therefore, a clear understanding of the pastoral role and responsibility are central to congregational health and stability. The design to test this hypothesis consisted of sermons, interviews, and pre test and post test surveys, which resulted in attitude change.
