Abstrakt

This study indicates that many believers struggle with motivation for godliness and witness. One cause is a lack of proper focus on the doctrine of heaven. Using before and after testing of a class taught using a nine-lesson curriculum based on a lay-oriented book on this doctrine, the study concludes that this book and curriculum were effective in positively influencing the understanding of and attitude toward heaven in the test group. Such an improvement led to better motivation toward personal godliness and witness in almost all students. The book, lesson plans and an evaluation are included.
