This project proposes that the efficiency and effectiveness of the ministry of the local church can be enhanced by a comprehensive and authoritative manual of all church operations. The writer gathered resources from over 40 churches known for excellent administration. From these a manual was compiled for Harvest Community Church of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, an independent evangelical church. It was reviewed by several readers and revised accordingly. This project includes chapters on foundational documents, ministry profile, ministry descriptions, job descriptions, employee manual, administrative procedures, governing policies, and official forms.
