Abstrakt

The goal of this study is to provide a renewed understanding of preaching and the role of preaching in the context of Korean-American ethnic ministry by: 1) investigating the pressing needs of the Korean-American pulpit, 2) developing and validating a socio-theological model for preaching, 3) presenting guiding principles for preaching to be adopted by the church. This study uses the methods of a review of literature, a questionnaire, interviews and experiment feedback. This study advocates minjung preaching or liberation preaching as a socio-theological model.
