Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to equip selected members of Hamilton Baptist Church in Hamilton, Georgia, to minister to persons grieving the death of a loved one. The first project ministry goal was to research the field of grief ministry in order to equip selected members of Hamilton Baptist Church to minister to persons grieving the death of a loved one. The second project ministry goal was to develop a workshop to train selected members to minister to persons grieving the death of a loved one. The third project ministry goal was to equip the selected members to minister to persons grieving the death of a loved one. The tentative project methodology included lectures, PowerPoint presentations, videotapes, music, case-studies, role-plays, and hands-on activities. The workshop included seven separate ninety-minute sessions that were evaluated separately and as a whole.
