Abstrakt

How and why are people transformed? What are the processes and experiences that cause transformation in an individual and in an organization? Understanding transformation and its causes is perhaps one of the most valuable insights that any leader of an organization can gain. The problem this project addressed is the need to understand how service learning experiences and short-term mission trips produce transformation in the lives of participants. In response to this problem, this qualitative research-based project used grounded theory to construct a model for transformation in service learning experiences.
