  • The purpose of this project was to equip a respresentative group of leaders of Amite Baptist Church of Denham Springs, Louisiana, to develop and initiate a functional strategy for applying principles of natural church development to enhance church growth. Terry W. Booth led the project. The project evaluated the comparative strength of eight characteristices of natural church development as defined by Christian A. Scwarz and as manifested in Amite Baptist Church. A strategy was developed in cooperation with the leadership team that addressed two of the weaker characteristics. The strategy was initiated at the conclusion of the project.
