Abstrakt

Two recent and significant influences within the church in North America collide in this research project: attractional megachurches and the missional church vision. For many, these two influences are oxymoronic. Yet if missional theology and ecclesiology are correct, then the missional church vision must influence attractional megachurches for these churches to be who God called them to be. In light of this need a case study of Grace Community Church, a self-proclaimed attractional megachurch seeking to be missional, was conducted in order to implicate attractional megachurches into the opportunity and necessity of being missional in ethos and practice.
