Abstrakt

This project is centered in Stepney Baptist Church, Monroe, Connecticut. After a decade of remarkable growth its pastor resigned. How could renewal continue? A comprehensive biblical study concludes:continuing renewal comes through humble worship, dependent prayer and willing obedience to God. These principles are transferable. A Marriage Enrichment Seminar shows that in marriage worship becomes the adoration of the spouse to the exclusion of all other possible mates. Prayer becomes honest, loving communication. Obedience becomes mutual submission. The renewing church must find God's will for the future. Therefore a Long Range Planning Process is part of the project.
