Abstrakt

This project proposed that parenting and Christian living are both counter-cultural commitments. The author created a curriculum for mothers exploring their faith. Participants received monthly, theme-based materials from scripture, the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, a quotation from a modern source, an activity, a recommended film and reflection questions. After independently engaging these offerings, they gathered in discussion groups to further explore the material. Analysis of evaluation surveys indicates participants grew in understanding their faith, recognizing God's presence, and the ability to share this awareness with their families.
