Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to develop a community needs assessment of single-mother families in Corpus Christi, Texas, for South Texas Children's Home Ministries. The project director did intentional data gathering and assessment in the Corpus Christi region. Data from local and state agencies was valuable in assessing the needs of single-mother families in crisis. The project director did careful research in data gathering, survey methods, and the use of questionnaires. The final stage of this project was the development and presentation of specific recommendations to the South Texas Children's Home Ministries ministry committee.
