- This project describes the development of an assimilation strategy at Calvary Baptist Church, Elizabethton, Tennessee. Ch.1 serves as an introduction to the need of a new assimilation strategy. Goals, church context, statistical analysis, definitions, and research methodology are detailed in the chapter. Ch.2 addresses the biblical and theological foundations for an assimilation ministry. Ch.3 seeks to explore assimilation in three areas: problems related to individuals, problems related to organization, and problems related to society. Ch.4 explains the components used in implementing the project. Ch.5 focuses on analysis, evaluation, and reflection.
