  • How can three very different congregations become a 'cluster,' working together in a way that makes effective use of their limited resources without threatening congregational identity or valued traditions? This project increased each congregation's self-knowledge and self-esteem as each remembered its history and traditions and then used that knowledge to produce a 'mission statement' outlining what God wants it to be and do in its community. This process also increased our mutual understanding of each other's story and vision, helping us to cooperate more effectively in a ministry of presence and purpose in our individual communities.
