Abstrakt

This project represents the author's effort to increase the number of lay members of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Big Spring, Texas, who are actively involved in the church's work. The congregation's work suffered due to a few workers being overworked and a majority of members having little or no responsibility. The primary objectives of the project are to educate the members concerning their individual gifts for ministry, to solicit their pledges to use those gifts in the church's ministry, and to establish an ongoing climate of support and training in the church's programming.
