  • This project proposes that the Bible is primarily an inductively natured book that might best be studied inductively by people who learn best through inductive teaching methods. When they are respectfully encouraged to accept or reject the historical-grammatical truth they can discover it through a hands-on learning experience with the Bible that is related directly to their culture and life. This project conducted inductive study of the Bible with 16 Native American students attending American Indian College in Spring 1995. The project documents use of Ned Flanders's interaction analysis to shape an inductive Bible teaching model for a Native American classroom.
