Abstrakt

This thesis looks at how churches can identify potential leaders in their congregations who have leadership qualities, abilities, and skills; how churches can then develop these identified potential leaders to the point of being prepared for leadership positions; and, after identifying and developing these potential leaders, how churches can then empower them to actually become involved in ministry leadership. The process of identifying, developing, and empowering potential leaders is lacking in many, if not most, of our local churches and is, therefore, a critical need.
