- The main purpose of this ministry project is to develop a program for pre-evangelism and evangelism through the ministry of pre-marital preparation for the Chinese community. The Chinese community in North America is still a distinct community within a Western society, and has little Christian pre-evangelism factors to build on. This ministry project was carried out first by equipping two laymen in continuing witness training, followed by three pre-marital preparation (pastoral) counseling training sessions. The sessions dealt with such issues as reasons for pre-marital preparation, communication, listening, acceptance, Gospel, finances, and in-laws. Those who seek to do cross-cultural ministry to a non-Christian Chinese community will find this program a helpful tool.
