Abstrakt

The thesis of this project is that worship renewal in the local church can be brought about through use of the liturgy and the Christian year by deepening the sense of awe and mystery of God. The author carried out the project in the worship of Downtown Christian Church during the Sundays of Advent creating a liturgical form of worship related to advent themes, using also banners, paraments, and a preacher's robe. The results showed that the congregation was favorably disposed to worship set in this context.
