  • The purpose of the project was to develop a strategic plan for the initial engagement of the last unreached people groups in the five western South American countries of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru. Components of the project included: exploring the demographics of the region to determine which people groups are unreached and unengaged, reviewing existing strategies of International Mission Board-related work in the region, developing a decision tree process to assign specific strategy types for engaging the unreached peoples, developing a plan to begin the initial engagement of the unengaged unreached people groups in the region, and presenting the plan to the regional leadership team for their review and consideration. The project director utilized the strategy planning model for the ministry project.
