Abstrakt

This thesis contends that Christian heavenly citizenship significantly impacts how one ought to preach when American national holidays are celebrated. The study first lays the biblical and theological framework establishing responsibilities associated with heavenly citizenship. It then reviews the literature associated with this theme. Included is an elective course focusing on the specific areas of how heavenly citizenship impacts the preaching.
