Abstrakt

'Developing a 2020 vision for Johnston Chapel' is an attempt to understand how the issue of strategic planning applies to Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton, West Virginia. The author analyzed various strategic planning models and applied the results of that study to a planning process for the church where he serves as senior pastor. Using a congregational survey, a weekend leadership retreat and five half-day leadership planning sessions, he proceeded to develop a long-range strategic plan for the church.
