- Abstract
- The author developed, implemented, and evaluated an intercultural training model project that helped campus staff in Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada develop a biblical worldview of cultural diversity, identify developmental orientations toward cultural difference, and choose steps for further growth. The author used action research to study: (1) the initial intercultural competence among campus staff (2) training elements appropriate for the group and purpose (3) changes after training and (4) evidence of the training model's effectiveness. Data collection included pre-training Intercultural Development Inventory [registered symbol] assessments and post-training survey. Findings included the training model's effectiveness and participants' changes in intercultural sensitivity.
