  • The purpose of this project was to enhance the project director's skill in collaborative sermon preparation. The project director utilized the ministry skill enhancement model to design this project. The author researched the current understandings and models of collaboration for the purpose of developing a model of collaborative sermon preparation. Based on this research the author developed a multilevel approach to collaboration that included both face-to-face and online collaboration. The effectiveness of that model of sermon collaboration was studied by an AB study of six sermons developed by two teams. A positive correlation between collaboration and sermon effectiveness was discovered.
