Abstrakt

The purpose of the project was to enhance congregational awareness of the doctrine of sanctification at First Baptist Church, Chipley, Florida. The project consisted of a five-week sermon series on sanctification. The evaluation measured effectiveness through pretests and posttests administered to selected church members. In addition, experts evaluated the theological content, structure, and delivery of the sermons using established rubrics and provided useful feedback. Selected church members also evaluated the sermon delivery using rubrics. Finally, weekly personal reflection and application of these evaluations served as an additional means of assessing the project’s success. Ultimately, the project demonstrated the value of doctrinal preaching in shaping both knowledge and practice within the local church.
