This model in ministry implemented at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, focused the biblically attested responsibility of the local church to assume educational stewardship over its non-staff clergy. The ultimate result of application of the model was to establish, as a line item in the church budget, a self-perpetuating needs-based educational financial aid fund for seminarians.
