Abstrakt

The project's purpose was to improve church members' understanding of the current Southern Baptist controversy through a study of denominational distinctives. Methods used in the project's implementation included sermons, lectures, classroom discussions, video presentations, case study analysis and a public forum. At the project's conclusion, participants demonstrated an improved understanding of their denominational distinctives and an improved proficiency in handling issues of denominational controversy.
