This project traces the background and work of Anglican missionaries in the Diocese of Spokane. It discusses the colonial Anglican church's lack of a missionary bishop as one of the underlying causes of the Revolution. The project also covers the Episcopal Church's inadequate Indian missions, even though the first missionary for Spokane was an Indian.
