Abstrakt

India Free Methodist Church faces a crisis of ministry in a transition era. In the light of a New Testament perspective, ministry belongs to all believers. The church needs to dissolve the dichotomy between clergy and laity by equipping multiple leaders. The Free Methodist Church is a movement of holiness, evangelism, social action and mission. Its pioneer leaders were both laity and clergy. The author believes lay leaders must be equipped by a designed lesson plan to cater the ministerial and lay leadership to rural and urban churches of IFMC proposed in this project.
