Abstrakt

Local church membership has seen its meaning erode away until it is little more than a social club membership. Such an anemic view of church membership is actually a detriment to the Kingdom of God and thus should be rethought and re-implemented. This project examines the problems with church membership and in light of the biblical picture of church membership proposes a new model for church membership. It proposes the Lord's Supper as the new model for understanding and applying church membership.
