  • This project proposes to teach church members how to analyze moral content of motion pictures in relation to moral precepts taught in the Bible. Participants learn aesthetic concepts derived from the work of Michael Medved as well as an understanding of biblical ethics as they critically analyze six films. Christians must learn how to discern spiritually the moral power of the images communicated in a motion picture, recognizing that these images distill the personal philosophies of producers, directors, and actors.
