  • This dissertation/project discusses the need for dialogue among the three faith groups of Tanzania: Christianity, Islam and traditional Bantu belief. The author believes that this process will help the people of Tanzania live in harmony and bring about mutual understanding, enable the people to work peacefully together and provide religious freedom for each faith. The relationship between the state and religious communities is explored. The author concludes that there is a common ground between the three faiths of his country.
