Abstrakt

This dissertation-project is a study of the activities of both CMS and CSI in central Kevala Diocese of the Church of South India from 1816-1990, in the light of the New Testament method of missions. The scope of the study covers a brief survey of the history of CMS and CSI in central Kevala Diocese, and the religious, socio-economic and cultural activities of the Society in the light of the New Testament methods of missions, and the impact of the missionary work in the state and the relevance of the CMS methods of missions today.
