  • Christians ministering to cancer patients is the will of God. Christ provided the church with his clear model of ministry to the sick. He was present with people who hurt, loved them and valued them, and today calls his body to continue as he began. A local church, nurtured by a pastor/shepherd, can significantly contribute to meeting the needs of cancer patients. This report is about one church's plan to develop a ministry to cancer patients by selecting and training six members for such a work of service.
