  • Learning to be an effective preacher is a lifelong journey. Using insights from interviews with other preachers, as well as from the current literature on mentoring, this project examines the benefits of a mentoring relationship for preachers, and suggests practical 'how tos' for establishing a successful mentoring experience. As an adjunct to one's seminary training, a mentoring relationship offers the preacher a positive avenue for reflection, personal development, and growth.
