  • This project presents the thesis that inclusive language about God that refers to God as both Father and Mother is essential if a church wishes to be faithful to the Bible and to affirm the religious faith and experience of both men and women. The project presents biblical and theological foundations. It includes an analysis of a variety of biblical passages in both Old and New Testaments which image God in feminine terms. The study details an educational small group process as well as worksheets that are used to present this thesis to a local congregation.
