Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to lead selected leaders of Whispering Pines Baptist Church to define its purpose and begin developing a stratgey for ministry. The process of purpose definition and strategy development involved studying the mission of the church, evaluationg the effectiveness of the church's ministry, and identifying church and community needs. The leaders defined the church's mission and composed a purpose statement for Whispering Pines. The work group identififed the Sudnay School organization as the primary base for ministry. Project evalution confirmed that the selected leaders defined the church's purpose and began the strategy development process.
