Abstrakt

This study develops models for local church programming to reach out to the poor in view of the changing theological understanding of contextualization in the Korean church. A literature review comprises the first part of the study. A survey was conducted in order to discover actual programming needs of the poor. It is imperative for the church to be in solidarity with the poor. Five models are proposed to facilitate the local church's solidarity with the poor.
