  • The purpose of the project was to equip women of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Northport, Alabama, to encourage husbands as spiritual leaders in the home. The project leader wrote a research paper entitled 'Biblical guidelines for the family based on a complementarian approach to Scripture interpretation.' Additionally, the project leader developed an equipping model to equip women to encourage husbands as spiritual leaders. Participants addressed the following issues: (1) Roles and expectations of marriage partners; (2) Spiritual development of the wife; and (3) Acts of love that can encourage husbands as spiritual leaders. Based on data evaluation, it appears that the project leader equipped participants to encourage husbands as spiritual leaders.
