Abstrakt

Matching the gifts of clergy to the parish they serve reduces the stress on that pastor and their family. This study involved the placement process within the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida during the past five years. Thirty parishes were evaluated after placement of clergy to determine the matching process' success. The result of the examination indicated that the process works when followed carefully and without circumvention. Indeed, the gifts of the clergy matched the needs of the congregation, resulting in a good match and growing ministry.
